1310 Archibald Apartments

I live here and really enjoy it! It’s a big apartment with lots of storage. The building is quiet and pet friendly.

The Caretakers are rude, oblivious to common sense, do half assed jobs that just need to be redone. They literally have a pylon to protect their truck, which is to big for it's spot. But, have nothing to caution people of the huge bloody holes that could swallow a full sized man, let alone children or pets. They are all gossips and share all sorts of information with patty the resident gossip queen, who isn't even an employee. It took use 2 months to get a parking spot in a parking lot that is half empty, and my E-bike is still in my apartment after being here 4 months. Ian said it would be a week to see what could be done. Tried to get our buzzer number changed to our land line, took over a week and we had to give them the number 2 times. Ronda the maid couldn't clean if her life depended on it, there is endless spots that are never cleaned. She pretty much vacuums a hall for 20 minutes, then talk on the phone for 30 minutes, hall, phone, hall, phone. She also likes to park in no parking because she has no concern for others safety, when it conflicts with her being so special. She even tried to point the finger at another tenet because they have the same car, when I saw her with my own two eyes, even took a picture. That sure is what a responsible adult would do. They have no communication skills, I haven't seen any of them even take a note or schedule tasks, which is probably why everything takes forever or just doesn't get done. Piles of crap in the yard, endless holes, and doing crappy work. You do not want to live here.

I live here and have nothing but great feelings about it. Apartment is spacious with great natural light. Quiet building with greasy access to transit and other necessities.

Moved in almost 2 years ago and I haven't had proper air conditioning ever. In the summers I always have to supplement with an ac unit I paid for out of pocket and my electricity bill is 3-4x the typical amount. Never been reimbursed or properly addressed (ignored) despite complaints. I'm paying WAY more than I budgeted for because of this issue and it's a real disappointment. Don't advertise this place comes with air conditioning when it can never get below 23 celsius without an added expense paid for out of pocket. I feel sick a lot because I'm always overheated and I have to be uncomfortable in summer and keep the blinds closed and big fan turned on as much as possible. Not pleased. If you ignore this issue (if not AC isn't an issue for you) the building is relatively quiet since there are concrete walls. It's a pet friendly building. Good location.

This building was an excellent first apartment for us. We were in a smaller suite than others but we made it work. The building was clean, well maintained, and safe. There is laundry on every floor.

This apartment block is clean, has wide balconies, 3 gyms, a community room and allows small dogs! It is also close to superstore and great, scenic bike paths in and around and under Fermor. (like this review if you found it helpful)

Honestly, the best apartment I've ever had. The staff are incredibly friendly, accommodating, and handle any issues like maintenance promptly. The building is gorgeous with lots of great perks, and best of all they allow pets!

We have been living here for almost 2 months. We love the quiet and pet friendly living!!! Besides the administration is always attentive and great!
